Vittoria State Forest is located halfway between Bathurst and Orange.

This trail is a 4.3-km loop near Vittoria along a fire trail.

Macquarie Woods is challenging hike along a fire trail, however this trek offers an opportunity to walk in peace, tackling this track means you wont likely encounter many other travellers.

This trail takes you through the Central Tablelands through the Vittoria State Forest.

The trail begins from Macquarie Woods Campground, where parking is available and along a smooth fire trail.

Enjoy the view of the pine forest and cross twice over the Rogans Creek.

Grade 3

The Farm Trees and Forest Loop is a long peaceful trek in Vittoria State Forest.

This walk is considered challenging however the views of the forest make the walk worthwhile.

The trail starts from the Macquarie Woods camping area and loos through the pine forest.

The trail leads through a wide flat fire trail which is easy to traverse, and the length of the trail provides a challenge.

The trail also offers scenic views of Vittoria State Forest and surrounding areas.

Grade 3

As the name suggests the Vittoria Forest 12km Loop track is a 12km loop through Vittoria State Forest.

This trail is fairly challenging due to it’s length however the track takes you across a wide flat fire trail.

If you are looking for a long peaceful track, this trail is ideal, you are unlikely to find other hikers in the area.

This trail runs through a pine forest but still offers an easy walk with great views.

If you challenge yourself to the Vittoria Forest 12km Loop you will be rewarded with views of the rolling hills and lush grassland around the forest.

Grade 4
