Glenwood State Forest is also home to a dedicated mountain bike track maintained by the Orange Mountain Bike Club.

Glenwood State Forest Track

13km, 3.5 – 4 hours loop

The Glenwood State Forest Track is a challenging 13km loop across pine plantation close to Orange NSW.

Enjoy the open scenery, the mountain views, take a walk along Boree Creek, and watch out for birdlife.

Pack a picnic lunch and stop along the way for a rest and relax under the shade of a tree to break up the walk. Remember to always clean up after yourself and leave the area as you find it.

This trail is great for hiking, mountain biking, and running. Dogs must be on a leash in this area.

Federal Falls Trail

9.5km, 4 hours

Challenge yourself to this 9.5-km loop trail, his trail takes approximately 4 hours but is well worth the effort.

This trail is great for hiking, mountain biking, and running, bring your faithful 4 legged canine companion, but they must be on a leash.

This trail lies on the border of the Glenwood State Forest and Mount Canoblas State Conservation Area right near Orange.

This trail takes you to the peak of Federal Falls. Along the way keep an eye out for local flora and fauna and take in the breath taking scenery as you explore winding trails and open skies.
